Here is what to expect this week for you and your baby.

Baby Size Kumquat (small amla) 3.1 cm A strawberry (~3.1 cm). All major organs are formed.
Baby Development
- All vital organs are formed and beginning to function
- Tiny fingernails start growing
- Baby can now swallow and kick
- Bones begin to harden
Common Symptoms
- Visible veins on arms and chest
- Round ligament pain — sharp twinges in lower abdomen
- Increased vaginal discharge
- Nausea may start easing for some

- Start sleeping on your side (left side preferred)
- Stay active with swimming or walking
- Apply cocoa butter or coconut oil for skin elasticity

When to see your doctor at week 10
Some symptoms need attention right away. Contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital if you notice any of these:
- Heavy bleeding (soaking a pad within an hour)
- Severe or persistent abdominal or pelvic pain
- Fever above 38°C (100.4°F)

Why do I have headaches?
Hormones, dehydration, low blood sugar. Sip water, eat small frequent meals; persistent headaches need review.
Is bloating normal?
Yes — progesterone slows the gut. Walk after meals; eat fibre and stay hydrated.
