- Heavy bleeding (soaking a pad within an hour)
- Severe or persistent abdominal or pelvic pain
- Fever above 38°C (100.4°F)

When will my home test be positive?
Most tests reliably turn positive within a day or two of the missed period.
Light bleeding — period or implantation?
Implantation bleeding is light, brief, pinkish. A period is heavier and lasts longer.
What if my test is faint?
A faint line usually still means positive. Retest in 48 hours; hCG typically doubles every 48–72 hours.
