Baby Size Cauliflower (gobi) 34.6 cm A coconut / nariyal (~34.6 cm). Inner-ear balance organs maturing.
Baby Development
- Baby responds to familiar voices
- Nostrils open — practising breathing motions
- Spine structure strengthening with 33 rings and 150 joints
- Baby gaining weight rapidly now
Common Symptoms
- Haemorrhoids (piles) may develop
- Constipation worsening
- Restless leg syndrome
- Frequent trips to the bathroom

- High-fibre diet and plenty of water for piles prevention
- Avoid sitting or standing for prolonged periods
- Warm sitz baths for haemorrhoid relief

When to see your doctor at week 25
Some symptoms need attention right away. Contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital if you notice any of these:
- Heavy bleeding (soaking a pad within an hour)
- Severe or persistent abdominal or pelvic pain
- Fever above 38°C (100.4°F)
- Sudden severe headache, blurred vision or upper-abdominal pain (possible preeclampsia)
- Decreased fetal movement after week 24 (fewer than 10 movements in 2 hours)
