Frequently asked questions

Dizziness — why?

Vessel relaxation + uterus pressure drops BP. Rise slowly, hydrate, avoid long standing.

Leg cramps?

Higher magnesium/calcium needs. Calf stretches, hydration, a banana before sleep help.

Iron-supplement check?

Many Indian women are anaemic before pregnancy. Ask for haemoglobin / ferritin if not done.

For partners

Add spinach, jaggery + sesame ladoos, pomegranate — iron-rich and tasty.

Prepare for your OB visit
