Most companies wait until everything is polished before they say a word. We have decided to do something a little different: tell you honestly where we are, while we are still building it. So here is the plain truth — SHELY is pre-launch, and we are building it in the open.

Where we are today

We are early. We are not going to dress that up with inflated numbers or borrowed credibility. We are building the foundations of a women's and family Health OS — a single, connected place for care across a woman's whole life — and that is genuinely hard, careful work. We would rather take the time to get it right than rush something shallow to market.

What we are not going to do

It is tempting, in a young company, to make the story sound bigger than it is. We are choosing not to. That means:

  • No fabricated user numbers or traction we have not earned.
  • No invented partnerships, awards, or testimonials.
  • No precise statistics dressed up with credibility we do not have yet.

When we report a number — women served, languages live, clinicians in our network — it will be real, and we will report it honestly, once we have actually earned it.

What we are working on

Our focus is on the foundations: building for India-first realities rather than retrofitting a model from somewhere else, working toward support across ten Indian languages so understanding your health is not gated behind English, and putting privacy and consent at the centre rather than the margins. These are the things that have to be right before anything else matters.

Why "in the open"?

Because trust is the whole product. In women's health especially, you cannot ask people to trust you with their most personal information and then be vague about who you are. Building in the open is our way of being accountable from the start — sharing the honest version of our progress, including the parts that are still unfinished.

Come build it with us

If the problem we are taking on resonates with you, we would love for you to follow along — and to shape what we build. We are early enough that your perspective genuinely matters.
