Counselling & Emotional Support
You don't have to carry it alone
Whatever you are feeling is valid. Counselling on SHELY has not launched — here is honestly what it will be, and where to get help right now if you need someone today.
What kind of counselling does SHELY offer?
It has not launched, so the honest answer is: nothing yet. What we are building is confidential one-to-one emotional support for everyday stress, anxiety, relationship worries and women's-health concerns, with trained counsellors. There are no counsellors taking sessions today and nothing to book. If you need help now, the crisis helplines on this page are real and available.
Is everything I share kept private?
That is the standard we are building the service around: what you share stays between you and your counsellor, is never sold, and is not shared without your consent except where someone's safety is at immediate risk. Since no sessions have happened, treat it as a commitment rather than a track record.
Do I need a diagnosis or referral to start?
Not at all. You don't need a diagnosis, a referral, or a 'serious enough' reason. If something is weighing on you, that's reason enough to reach out — big or small, you're welcome here.
How are sessions conducted — online or in person?
The plan is secure video or voice, so you can talk from somewhere you feel comfortable, with in-person options possible in some cities later. Nothing is bookable yet, online or in person.
How much does counselling cost?
We're committed to keeping support affordable, with transparent pricing and no hidden fees. Once counselling launches, we'll share clear session rates upfront — and we're working on low-cost and subsidised options so cost never stands in the way of care.
Can I choose a woman counsellor or someone who speaks my language?
That is the intention — where we can, you will be able to ask for a woman counsellor or someone who speaks your language. We cannot promise it yet, because the counsellor network does not exist.
When will counselling be available?
We have not set a date, and we are not going to announce one we might move. Join the waitlist and we will tell you when counselling is genuinely available in your area. Until then, the crisis helplines are the route for urgent support.
Ready when you are
There's no rush and no pressure. Take the next step whenever it feels right — we'll be here when you need us.
