We have run no studies and published no papers. This page sets out what we would like to study, what we would need before starting, and the rules we would hold ourselves to.
The state of our research today
Stated plainly, so nothing here can be mistaken for work already done.
- Studies running None No trial, cohort or survey is recruiting, and none has been registered.
- Papers published None Nothing has been submitted to a journal, a preprint server or a conference.
- Institutional agreements None No university, hospital or research council has agreed to work with us.
- Ethics approvals None No protocol has been submitted to an ethics committee, because no protocol exists yet.

We have published nothing, so these are commitments rather than a record. Hold us to them.
A protocol before any data is touched
Question, method and analysis plan written down and registered first, so a disappointing result cannot quietly become a different study.Consent that is asked for, not assumed
No one's data enters a study because they used the app. Participation would be opt-in, separately explained, and withdrawable without losing access to anything.Ethics review by someone who is not us
An independent ethics committee, through an institutional partner, before recruitment — not a self-assessment.Publish the result either way
Including null and unflattering findings. A company that only publishes what suits it is doing marketing, not research.No claim that outruns the evidence
Our health content already carries the line 'independent clinical review in progress' rather than claiming a review it has not had. Research claims will be held to the same standard.What we could and could not bring to a study

If this is your field, we would like to hear from you
We are looking for a principal investigator and an institution willing to shape a first question with us. We would rather start small and finish it than announce something large.
